Dabs and Extracts

Start Low, Go Slow

When trying a new product or consumption method always start by taking a smaller dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the amount that's right for you.
Remember: You can always take more but you can never take less!

Tolerance

Tolerance to cannabis can build up quicker than you think. Due to the potent nature of dabs and extracts your tolerance can build up a lot quicker than if you were just smoking buds. To avoid building up a high tolerance space out your sessions as well as starting low and going slow.

Low Temperature Dabbing

Avoid overheating (above 230 degrees Celcius) to prevent inhaling harmful byproducts. Wait 30-60 seconds before torching your banger or use a temperature controlled
E-nail.

Know Your Source

Due to criminalisation and no regulation, street made dabs may contain unsafe levels of solvents if not purged properly. Avoid dabs that smell like chemicals or burn with a popping sound.

Inhale... Exhale

A common myth when smoking cannabis is that if you hold in the smoke for as long as possible you will get a stronger high. This is just not true as it only takes seconds for THC to enter your system, holding the smoke in is only going to cause easily avoidable damage to your lungs so please look after yourself!

Cleaning

Residue buildup can release irritants when re heated. To be safe its best to clean your rig banger and tools with isopropyl alcohol regularly.

Other Tips

High THC dabs can cause dehydration and sometimes unwanted effects. Stay hydrated and keep some CBD and black pepper to help reduce unwanted effects.
