Harm Reduction Tips for Edibles
Edibles
Start Low, Go Slow
When trying a new product always start by taking a smaller dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the amount that's right for you. Edibles take longer to kick in (30 minutes - 1+ Hours) so wait at least an hour and a half before taking more. With home made edibles it’s also recommended to always start low even with the same batch as cannabis amounts can be inconsistent. Remember, you can always take more but you can never take less!

Patience
As previously mentioned edibles can take some time to kick in. To avoid getting too stoned wait at least an hour and a half before re dosing.
CBD
CBD can help counteract some of the negative effects of cannabis so if everything is feeling a bit too much have some CBD to help level things out.

Know Your Source
Although this one can often be tricky in an unregulated market it's best to know how your cannabis is grown. Some growers put pesticides and other nasty chemicals in their products which can be harmful when consumed.

Set & Setting
Edibles can be a different experience to smoking cannabis, to ensure to best experience make sure you are in a comfortable environment where you feel safe and are surrounded by people you trust.
Tolerance
Tolerance to cannabis can build up quicker than you think. Due to the potent nature of hash your tolerance can build up a lot quicker than if you were just smoking buds. To avoid building up a high tolerance space out your sessions as well as starting low and going slow.

Snacks
Make sure to have a variety of snacks pre prepared. Those extra edibles are going to look extremely tasty!
