Harm Reduction Tips for Pipes

Pipes

Start Low, Go Slow

When trying a new product or consumption method always start by taking a smaller dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the amount that's right for you.
Remember: You can always take more but you can never take less!

Cleaning

esidue buildup can create harsher smoke and possible mold growth. Make sure to clean your pipe regularily to avoid unpleasant smoking experiences and to look after your health!

Lightin it Up

To avoid inhaling excessive amounts of butane use hemp wick available online or in most smoke shops.

Materials

Avoid using plastic or aluminum foil when making pipes as these materials can release harmful toxins when burnt or heated.

Inhale... Exhale

A common myth when smoking cannabis is that if you hold in the smoke for as long as possible you will get a stronger high. This is just not true as it only takes seconds for THC to enter your system, holding the smoke in is only going to cause easily avoidable damage to your lungs so please look after yourself!

Heat

to prevent getting burnt ensure to take short breaks in between uses as pipes can get quite hot.

Screen

Make sure to use a pipe screen to avoid inhaling ash and plant material.
