General Tips

Start Low, Go Slow

When trying a new product or consumption method always start by taking a smaller dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the amount that's right for you.
Remember: You can always take more but you can never take less!

Tolerance

Tolerance to cannabis can build up quicker than you think, leading you to consume more in order to get the same effects. To get the most out of your cannabis try and implement tolerance breaks. This can look like taking a break for a few days or weeks to abstaining from daily use so that when you use in the evening you'll feel more than if you'd been consuming all day.

Strain Choice

When trying a new product or consumption method always start by taking a smaller dose and slowly increasing your dose until you find the amount that's right for you. Remember, you can always take more but you can never take less!

Know Your Source

Although this one can often be tricky in an unregulated market it's best to know how your cannabis is grown. Some growers put pesticides and other nasty chemicals in their products which can be harmful when consumed.

Inhale... Exhale

A common myth when smoking cannabis is that if you hold in the smoke for as long as possible you will get a stronger high. This is just not true as it only takes seconds for THC to enter your system, holding the smoke in is only going to cause easily avoidable damage to your lungs so please look after yourself!

Diet & Exercise

Cannabis can only help you if you help yourself. Keeping to a healthy diet and exercising frequently will not only enrich your life but it will also improve the effectiveness of cannabis. Plus there's also nothing better than breaking the stigma of being a lazy stoner;)

Cannabinoids

Cannabis contains over 100 cannabinoids with the two most known cannabinoids being THC and CBD. THC is generally responsible for the "high" you get when consuming cannabis whereas CBD is non-psychoactive and has certain medical benefits. Most cannabis available nowadays has been bred to contain higher levels of THC and little to no levels of CBD. To reduce unwanted side effects from cannabis such as increased anxiety and/or paranoia either consume a strain/ product with a balanced THC-CBD level, alternatively, you can purchase CBD and supplement it alongside your regular cannabis product.
